For me music is not limited to writing songs, composing and instrumentalizing. There are so many rails: implement cover pictures, shooting canvas, social media, music marketing, performances & interactions with the people while singing and not at least this website, of course. The longer I’m with music the more possibilities I see. All this leads to an enormous progress, I see myself growing in all areas. I look back and see where I started. I look forward and see possibilities everywhere. Here is no stagnation, no purposeless working ’til it’s done. Everything is changing forwards, all rails at the same time! Isn’t it fascinating? I wind up this music like a music box and if there is something I want, I do everything until I get it.

Where I am now is the result of a process and the journey still goes on. Started with the joy for singing, I began to write lyrics about my experiences with life and people & what I felt in different situations. Moments I lived through – the wanted ones as well as the ones I was pushed in without an exit. Rarely I built an exit by myself, if possible. My song texts include all of it, even tiny steps of my journey.

With the lyrics the melody comes and this is when I see songs coming to live for the first time. Finding suitable chords is fun. With this I create facets and additions feeling placed in the right spot. Playing the new song several times, sometimes I already find rhythms that match.

The next big creative step is imagining how the song could sound with some more instruments, so that means a lot of time sitting in front of my computer creating and trying sounds and how to arrange them into something great. I am grateful and sometimes wonder that I’m able to do all this on my own. Well, at least I know it’s not a power that grew out of nowhere or flew to me and that’s it. All I can say is, my start was in 1998 with all lows and highs that life gives us. My story still continues.
